Addiction doesn’t happen in a vacuum — and neither should treatment. That’s why we are one of the few medical detox facilities in Arizona to allow cell phone use during treatment. We want patients to have access to their families and jobs and be able to have outside support as they work to heal their bodies. This welcoming of outside interaction also allows our staff to identify any stressors patients may be experiencing in daily life and help them find positive coping mechanisms outside of substance abuse.
All patients are given a private room with a private bathroom and DirectTV during their stay. This allows them to go through physical and mental withdrawal symptoms in privacy and with as much ease as our medical staff can provide. Work stations are also available in select rooms if you need to continue working during your medical detox.
At Scottsdale Detox we understand that withdrawal symptoms can cause patients to miss regular meal times or have particular food cravings at odd hours. That’s why we’ve incorporated a 24/7 on-site cafe available to all patients and stocked with a variety of meals, snacks, and drinks. Access to foods you know and like can help you find comfort during a physically taxing process.
At Scottsdale Detox our board-certified medical staff have curated a number of evidence-based addiction treatment options to help clients begin their path to sobriety.
Understanding that you are not alone in your addiction is a powerful tool in long-term recovery. For this reason, we offer optional group therapy session to all patients in Scottsdale Detox to begin understand the root cause of their addiction and how they may be impacting those around them.
Our board-certified medical team performs a comprehensive physical and mental examination upon intake. This process helps us to anticipate and alleviate withdrawal symptoms and identify any occurring mental health disorders.
The primary reason for medical detox is to safely and comfortably expel substances from your body so you can focus on sobriety. Many substances, like alcohol and opioids, have life threatening withdrawal symptoms that must be managed by a medical staff. Lesser symptoms can still be alleviated with treatment, helping patients focus on their long-term goals.
While medical detox is focused on purging the body of drugs and alcohol, we want to ensure we begin to prepare the mind for addiction recovery. Our licensed staff offer individual therapy sessions that patients can build on as they continue in their journey toward sobriety.
Each patient is assigned a dedicated case manager upon intake to ensure they have a personalized long-term addiction treatment plan in place. Typically this means continuing on to inpatient rehab or outpatient therapy following medical detox.
At Scottsdale Detox we aim to serve all corners of the Valley including Phoenix, Cave Creek, Paradise Valley, Rio Verde, and more. We are here to help as many people as possible.
